What is CRTS Certified?

Mrs. Carlyle is a Certified Relocation& Transition Specialist (CRTS) which encompasses the Senior Home Transition, Senior Relocation, and Senior Move fields.  We are a member of the CRTS Professional Registry that supports older adults and their families as they move, organize, downsize, sell and remodel their homes.  Mrs. Carlyle truly understands and supports the social, medical, and emotional struggles faced through life changes.

What is the required notice to schedule a date for moving my parents to a senior living community?

We understand how at times it is an urgent move and we will do our best to work with you and the senior living community to meet your needs.  For a regular scheduled move, at least 7 days notice is helpful to coordinate all the plans so it is a stress-free experience. 

How long does it take to complete a safety course? Do I have to finish in one sitting?

Our Online CPR and First Aid course(s) are designed to let you work at your own learning pace and schedule. The average completion time for our course(s) is 1 to 2 hours. The best part is that the course(s) does not have to be completed all in one sitting. You can log out and log back into the course to meet your schedule. You will have access to your course(s) from the date of purchase for 6 months.

What is different about the Senior Living First Aid Training Course?

First Aid Course for Senior Living Professionals will provide you with Basic First Aid Training that follows AHA Guidelines plus additional knowledge and helpful tips in providing First Aid and caring specifically for seniors. Older adults face a particularly high risk of certain injuries and illnesses.  You will gain knowledge on prevention, recognizing signs and symptoms for heart attacks, strokes, hypertension, dehydration, Parkinson’s Disease, Macular Degeneration, UTI’s, Safety Precautions, Falls – Risks and Prevention.  If you work caring for seniors or care for an elderly parent or grandparent, this course is for you.  The Combo Course includes CPR/AED and our Caring for Seniors- Basic First Aid Course.

Will I receive the same product that I see in the picture?

The items that are pictured are the actual items.  If the item is out of stock, you will be notified for a replacement item or a refund of your purchase if the item is out of stock.

What is the minimum number of hours for companion services in my home?

Our standard is a minimum of 4 hours per scheduled companion service. 

What type of tasks can a companion perform for my mom?

Our caring team can help with grocery shopping, scheduling appointments, caring for a pet, playing cards or their favorite game, housekeeping or laundry, or just a cup of coffee and conversation. We can provide this service at your home or in a senior living community.
